Danny Trejo Is A Skater In OlliOlli World (VIDEO)

Danny Trejo OlliOlli World

For decades, Danny Trejo has made a name for himself as one of Hollywood’s go-to tough guys, having lent his action-caliber star power and distinct likeness to hundreds of film, TV show, and video game projects, including as lead character of the over-the-top Machete film series. However, the actor now appears to have lined up one of his most unique roles to date as a skateboarder in the upcoming game, OlliOlli World.

According to a recent post from developer Roll7, Danny Trejo is set to appear in OlliOlli World as a cartooney skateboarding character, donning an appearance not unlike his own. Shown holding his very own board, Trejo will be hidden along players’ travels across Radlandia and a sidequest will be waiting for those that manage to find him. While it’s unknown exactly what this side activity might entail, completion will yield a unique cosmetic item for players to customize their character with.

In the above post, Roll7 jokes that Trejo makes his “most realistic digital representation yet” in OlliOlli World, and is the latest entry to the “Danny Trejo multiverse.” The latter is a reference to the many video game roles Danny Trejo has inhabited over the years, including memorable appearances in GTA: Vice City, Fallout: New Vegas, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 as a playable character. Trejo most recently brought his trademark charm to Far Cry 6, playing himself as he sets up a Trejo’s Tacos restaurant in Yara.

As for OlliOlli World itself, Roll7 has been offering numerous looks at the game for months, showing off the entry as an expansive evolution to the series’ 2D past. Alongside its 3D twist to momentum-based gameplay, players are poised to discover new tracks, meet colorful characters, and compete with others online in the skate-friendly locale of Radlandia. The title also grants a wealth of customization options such as skin tone, clothing, and board art, in addition to details like skating stances, emotes, and trick variety.

OlliOlli World releases February 8th for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
