Every Cyberpunk 2077 Player Gets “Exactly the Same In-Game Content,” No Exclusivity

Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Tease

One tactic that developers and publishers have enjoyed doing over recent years is promoting exclusive content. Whether it’s exclusive to a specific platform, time frame, etc., companies seem to be all about it. That said, CD Projekt RED won’t be participating in such practices when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077 as every player will have access to the same content.

Thanks to a screenshot shared on Reddit of a Facebook Messenger conversation with the devs, we can see that Cyberpunk 2077 will not have exclusive content. “No, we don’t do that,” the message says. “Every person that buys the game gets exactly the same in-game content, no matter if they buy it in pre-orders, on release date or 2 years later.”

CD Projekt Red ” We don’t do pre-order bonuses, everyone gets the same whether it is a pre-order a release date purchase or after 2 years “ from r/cyberpunkgame

As for what Cyberpunk 2077 is all about, here’s more:

“Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to officially arrive on April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
