Apex Legends came out of the gate swinging earlier this year to much excitement. However, when the first Battle Pass dropped, the hype seemed to die down a little bit, but that is all about to change. During the EA Play event at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, Respawn Entertainment officially revealed the 10th Legend that is on the way – Wattson.

For those who don’t know, the name Wattson has been thrown around in leaks and rumors for quite some time, but the devs have finally revealed the new Legend. As her name would suggest, electricity is something she likes to use quite liberally. This can be seen in the cute animated short the devs released, which can be seen below:

The new Apex Legends character will be arriving on July 2nd alongside the new Battle Pass, which is called Battle Charge. As for Wattson herself, it turns out that her and her father are responsible for the arena and that she grew up there. Needless to say, some really fun times are ahead for players hanging around Kings Canyon.
