Brand New Screenshots Emerge for Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy VII Remake
More information and screenshots on Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy VII remake were unveiled at this year’s Monaco Anime Game International Conferences (MAGIC) by Tetsuya Nomura. These two are easily the most anticipated projects by Square Enix right now. There were three images between both franchises, so it’s not much to go on. However, it gives fans and players an idea on what to expect when it comes to graphics, user interface, and gameplay mechanics. The first one shows Cloud taking cover behind a wooden crate from Shinra soldier gunfire. Take a look at the gallery below for more details:
The engine used for the upgraded graphics looks fantastic. In the second image, you can see Cloud and Barret taking on a Guard Scorpion. For old-school Final Fantasy VII fans, you’ll be happy to see the Active Time Battle bar during combat has stayed. Last, but not least, Sora can be seen taking on a boss level Heartless. It sure looks friendly, and ready to kick your ass! Also, is that a shield or a hammer that it’s holding?
Unfortunately, no release date for either game has been disclosed. At this time, these are just teasers on what to expect. Even though they’re just screen captures, it’s nice to know that there is still work being done on them. It has been far too long a wait already! Nomura did update the public, in January, that both of the games still have a long way to go.
So, gamers, what do you think of the images? Are you looking forward to what the future for both of the franchises hold? What do you think of the graphics?
