MLB The Show 21 Will Be Available On Xbox Consoles

MLB The Show 21 Xbox

MLB The Show is not only a series that is best known for being a great baseball game franchise, but also for being exclusive to PlayStation consoles. That said, it was announced some time ago that the series had a multi-platform partnership that would bring it to non-PlayStation devices in the future. Well, the future is officially here as it has been revealed that MLB The Show 21 will be coming to Xbox consoles later this year.

In a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, San Diego Studio’s Ramone Russell broke down all of the details about MLB The Show 21, including the platforms that the game will be available on. According to Russell, the next entry in the MLB The Show series will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. That’s right, the game is actually going to be playable on something other than a PlayStation device. As was noted in the blog post and as Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg reiterates, the upcoming title will feature cross-platform support, offering more players than ever a chance to get in on The Show.

“This is a very exciting moment for all of us as the storied franchise will be accessible to more gamers than before,” Russell said. “We would like to thank everyone at PlayStation, Xbox, Major League Baseball, Major League Baseball Players Association and the San Diego Studio for working diligently to bring MLB The Show to more users.”

MLB The Show 21 is set to arrive on April 20th for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
