Upcoming Dark Crystal Book Reveals Rare and Beautiful Concept Art
For Jim Henson fans, one classic movie that always comes to mind as a fan cavorite has to be The Dark Crystal. With unique imagery and fantastic puppetry, fans of this film will always remember this story and who could forget? The Skeksis are plenty terrifying enough to instill nightmares in all of us nearly 40 years later!
Recently, the magic of the film has been revived with the announcement that The Dark Crystal will be getting a prequel series on Netflix. Alongside that, it has also been confirmed that a book is also coming out in the near future. The Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History will be delving into exactly what went into creating the movie, and will include rare concept art and other behind the scenes tidbits to really share the tale of what went into creating this film.
The book will be written by Caseen Gaines, and is expected to hit shelves sometime in September.
