The Last of Us Part II has been a title on many gamers’ minds since the release of the first entry back in 2013. However, details haven’t exactly been flowing out of Naughty Dog, especially when it comes to the release date of the highly anticipated sequel. That said, it has been confirmed that the game will be featured during the next PlayStation State of Play livestream, which is less than a week away.

It was revealed earlier this month that a special media event will be held for The Last of Us Part II on September 24th in Los Angeles. This happens to be the very same day that the PlayStation State of Play livestream will take place at 1pm PT.

Of course, it is currently unknown exactly what will be shown during either of these events, but it might be safe to say that we will be finally learning the release date for The Last of Us Part II. In addition to this, there will likely be gameplay present, with members of the press surely getting a good look at the media event planned for that day. Either way, exciting times are ahead.
