Red Dead Redemption 2 Features Largest Arsenal In Franchise History

Red Dead Redemption 2

The hype for Red Dead Redemption 2 is beginning to reach maximum levels. With only a few weeks remaining between fans and the title’s release, more details, even spoilers, are sure to arrive in the near future. That said, it has been learned that the upcoming game is set to have the largest arsenal the franchise has ever seen.

It has been revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature over 50 weapons for players to take to the West with. News came from RockstarINTEL.com via Twitter, which can be seen below:

It’s unknown exactly how Rockstar will handle the release of all those weapons, but there are a few guesses. Take Red Dead Redemption, for example – a total of 36 weapons made it to the game, but only after the addition of DLC. There is a good chance that the developer could take this same route with the upcoming entry in the franchise.

Another way they could go is having the weapons available to players from the beginning, and instead of having to wait for DLC, they can acquire them through simply playing the story. Then it comes down to Red Dead Online, and there is no telling how many weapons will be available in that mode. Either way, fun times are ahead for gunslingers everywhere.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to arrive on October 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No word on a PC or Nintendo Switch port have been announced as of yet, but we can only hope something is announced in the relatively near future.
