PlayStation Plus February Free Games Revealed, Last Month For PS3, Vita (VIDEO)
The end of January is upon us, and while the month still has plenty to offer, Sony has now announced the next batch of freebies for PlayStation Plus February 2019. This month has quite the offering to premium subscribers, as it features popular PS4 games such as historical fighting game For Honor and the entire first season of Hitman free of charge. Those still proudly rocking last-gen systems haven’t been left out yet, as Metal Gear Solid 4 and Divekick are also on the way for the PS3. Check out the reveal video and full listing below:
PlayStation Plus February 2019 Free Games
- Hitman: The Complete First Season (PlayStation 4)
- For Honor (PlayStation 4)
- Divekick (PlayStation 3, PS Vita Cross-Buy)
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PlayStation 3)
- Gunhouse (PlayStation Vita, PS4 Cross-Buy)
- Rogue Aces (PlayStation Vita, PS4 Cross-Buy)
As revealed last year, Sony is planning to thin out its PlayStation Plus lineup in the near future, the service ending support for PS3 and PS Vita freebies starting on March 8th. This marks February as the final time the two consoles will be featured. Those interested in taking advantage of the swan song deal will have until March 5th, as after this, the legacy platforms will disappear from the lineup forever. Users should be assured that any older titles will continue to remain in their download library as long as their PS Plus subscription is active.
On a lighter note, PlayStation is set to offer discounts into the incoming month of February, with VR titles such as Borderlands 2 VR (25% off) and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition (50% off) seeing huge discounts. Those interested in immersing themselves in some action can do so on the PlayStation Store before the sale ends on February 5th.
