Life Is Strange Comic Series Reveals Cover Art, Launch Window, And Which Ending It Follows

Life is Strange

Life is Strange is likely one of wilder narratives to appear over the past decade. With rich storytelling that took a deep dive into its characters, the game created by DONTNOD Entertainment has been an absolute hit with fans. That said, the upcoming comic series based after the events of the first Life is Strange now has a launch window, and we know what the cover art looks like. (WARNING: Spoilers ahead.)

Set to arrive this Fall, the Life is Strange miniseries will follow only one of the endings from the game. At the end of Episode 5, players were given the choice to save Arcadia Bay or Chloe, Max’s best friend and possible love interest. As for which ending the comic takes place after, the cover art says it all.

That’s right, Arcadia Bay has been destroyed, and the comic miniseries will take Max and Chloe back to demolished town. “A thrilling, time-twisting game-changer; an unexpected, emotional rollercoaster ride,” the description reads. “A brand new comics story in the beloved Life Is Strange universe – following Max and Chloe into a bold potential future! In the video game Life Is Strange, aspiring photographer Max Caulfield returned to her hometown of Arcadia Bay in order to attend the prestigious Blackwell Academy.”

“Following on from one of two possible endings of the game, Life Is Strange: Dust takes the saga of Max and Chloe into a new and uncertain future, in an all-new comic strip adventure. No matter which ending you chose, this deep dive into Max and Chloe’s potential future will thrill, shock, and surprise you all over again. You thought Max and Chloe’s story was over? Their trials are only beginning! And in the end, dust will be all that remains…”

That doesn’t sound too good for Max and Chloe, but all will be revealed when the Life is Strange comic arrives this November. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
