Appear in the New Han Solo Movie, Red Carpet Access, and More With ‘Star Wars Force for Change’ (VIDEO)
Glorious prizes await with an exceptional fundraising event by Star Wars: Force for Change in celebration of 40 years of Star Wars! Included in these prizes is a visit to the set of the still untitled Han Solo movie, a sleepover at Skywalker Ranch, tickets to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi world premiere, and best of all is that one lucky grand prize winner gets ALL THREE! The fundraiser was announced on Good Morning America where Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill described the details through video, check it out below:
“In a year that we celebrate 40 years of the Star Wars saga, I continue to be inspired by the incredible generosity and charitable efforts of our fans,” Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said. “We are so proud of their tireless dedication to positively impact the lives of children and others around the world, and hope this year’s Force For Change campaign will offer a few of those wonderful fans an experience they will never forget.”
The Star Wars: Force for Change team has joined forces with Omaze to create a new fundraising campaign called Star Wars “Past, Present, and Future” and it’s purpose is to raise money for Starlight Children’s Foundation and UNICEF. The prizes all correlate with the theme as seen below:
- Past – Stay the night at Skywalker Inn, get a tour of the archives and of the Ranch, and a private screening of Star Wars: A New Hope
- Present – Join the cast and attend the Star Wars: The Last Jedi red carpet premiere and exclusive after party
- Future – Visit the set, meet the directors, and even have the chance to APPEAR in the upcoming Han Solo movie
- Grand Prize – One amazingly lucky winner will receive all 3 prizes!
By donating to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, you will be supporting sick children across the United States and providing them with new Star Wars themed Starlight Brave Gowns to help cheer them up and make them comfortable during their hospitalization. The event is running up until May 11th and there’s a chance of winning a different prize each week.
