GTA Online Fourth Of July Event Celebrates ‘Murica (VIDEO)
The celebration of Independence Day comes but once per year, and while many may see it as the day that Will Smith saved us from the aliens, the Fourth of July also marks the occasion where we Americans display boastful pride over our star-spangled nation. While proceedings are usually highlighted by stars, stripes, and a rousing fireworks demonstration, Rockstar Games is also once again taking this idea to the next level in their latest holiday event for GTA Online.
From today until July 10th, Rockstar has revealed players can nab various patriotic items such as a red, white, and blue Liberator monster truck in addition to fittingly-themed weapons and firework launchers listed at a 40% discount for the occasion. In an extra exercise of freedom, anyone who logs in before the event ends can get a free Canis USA Tee & Patriot Beer Hat to help players properly sport their ‘Murican pride.

Multiplied rewards abound in numerous GTA Online missions and activities such as Smugglers Sell Missions doling out triple GTA$, while Gunrunning and Special Cargo Sell Missions are both doubling their monetary output. Players can also double their earnings in Client Jobs and Missile Base missions as well as in passive activities Gunrunning Research and Nightclub Income.
As these Independence Day proceedings ring in more than a few discounts, all these extra funds can go toward the numerous sales happening around GTA Online. All ammunition is currently 75% off, in addition to vehicles, properties, and even yachts getting 40% price drops for the rest of the week.
