GoT animated short

As always, Game of Thrones and war go hand in hand and with the 7th season completed, a new GoT animated short takes us back in time to an old war centered around the last remaining Valyrians, the House Targaryen. In this animated short, fans get a glimpse into the Targaryen conquest of Westeros, led by Aegon the Conqueror.

Keeping with tradition, HBO is giving fans the whole story exclusively on the limited edition Game of Thrones Seventh Season DVD and Blu-Ray discs on December 12th. This GoT animated short is even narrated by Harry Lloyd, who played Viserys Targaryen on the show. In the video below, viewers can watch the events that led to the Targaryens coming to Westeros and explains why Aegon decided to unite the 7 kingdoms.

“Together, the Seven Kingdoms made Westeros. A realm that wasn’t yet a realm, ruled by great families who didn’t know what greatness was. Aegon would teach them.” If that small bite doesn’t make you rush out to get this DVD, then you must know nothing Jon Snow! This GoT animated short is just the tip of the iceberg in the entirety of Game of Thrones Conquest & Rebellion: An Animated History of the Seven Kingdoms. The need to know more intensifies!
