Cyberpunk 2077 Devs Tease Release Date Announcement

Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Tease

With E3 2019 less than 100 days away, gamers everywhere are anticipating some big reveals and announcements from developers, one of which is CD Projekt RED. Many eyes are on The Witcher devs because of what’s next for them, Cyberpunk 2077. While we do know details about the story, missions, and setting featured in the upcoming game, we are still without possibly the most vital piece of information – the release date.

Thankfully, it looks like CD Projekt RED may have something big planned for this year’s E3, as company boss Adam Kicinski recently stated in an investors call that the upcoming event will be the most important in CDPR’s history. This, of course, is surprising to hear as it was at E3 2004 where they debuted The Witcher at BioWare’s booth, and as we all know, that franchise has gone on to achieve some ridiculous amounts of success.

However, in addition to this E3 being the most important, CDPR also noted that the best possible time to announce a release date would be at E3. Of course, this is no guarantee that we’ll learn of the Cyberpunk 2077 release date at the June event, but it certainly does appear that way. Then again, the studio has two AAA titles dropping within the next couple of years. Perhaps they’ll pull a fast one over on fans and release the other game first.

We can only hope that it is indeed Cyberpunk 2077 that the studio is referring to, and that all is revealed at E3. Until then, keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
