New The Evil Within 2 Video Highlights Some Haunting Sidequest Action (VIDEO)

The Evil Within 2 Video

With the release date a little more than a month away, The Evil Within 2 is surely gaining steam in fans’ minds. Bits and pieces of the game have been released in recent months through trailers and whatnot, with only little action being displayed. This, of course, is understandable because developers and publishers don’t want to just give the title away before it hits the market. Not a ton of information is known at this point, but a recent Evil Within 2 video provides a bit more of what to expect.

Seen on the 4PlayersTVexklusiv YouTube channel, the new Evil Within 2 video gives fans a look at some haunting gameplay action. The footage is of beta goodness, but it looks quite delightful in all of its creepy glory. Some sidequest gameplay features protagonist Sebastian stealthily navigating his way around without meeting his demise by the hands of a ghost. Using his trusty Communicator, he must find the location from which a girl’s voice is coming. Check it out below:

What the Evil Within 2 video lacks in terms of story, it more than makes up for in erratic spirits looking to end you. There is even a bit of flashback action to the original game. Unfortunately, nothing is known as far as how many of these sidequests will be available in the title, but the more there are, the more awesome horror bits players will get to enjoy. The Evil Within 2 is due out on October 13 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

What say you, horror fans? Does this Evil Within 2 video give you hope for the sequel? With sidequests now being part of the title, how much replayability will that add to one’s experience?
