There’s no denying that the unauthorized release of information has been on the rise in recent months. However, that hasn’t stopped some crafty dataminers out there, especially those responsible for the most recent Kingdom Hearts III leak.

While it’s been a few weeks since the last Kingdom Hearts III leak, more interesting information continues to come forth. When the drop of details arrived, fans had begun to point out parts that made the whole thing seem like a complete fake. A recent development, however, may actually give us some insight into the leak, and the possibility that Shibuya district of Tokyo from The World Ends With You will be in the upcoming(if it even exists) game. The original Kingdom Hearts III leak arrived in December, with the leaker saying to be on the lookout in January. This only furthered speculation as the D23 Expo, where many believe the next trailer will be dropped alongside an official release date, isn’t until February. However, the announcement for The World Ends With You Final Remix for the Nintendo Switch did arrive this month, making doubters rethink their position on the validity of the original leak.

The video also touches on some other aspects of the leaked information, including characters from Frozen, Monsters, Inc., and other titles. Either way, the upcoming D23 Expo in Japan just might contain what fans have been hoping for – confirmation of a video game that is actually in development.
