Far Cry 5 Gameplay Trailer Reveals Co-Op and More (VIDEO)
Ubisoft’s Far Cry franchise has been a fan favorite for several years now. It’s no surprise that the announcement of the latest entry into the series had fans chomping at the bits for more details, especially for some Far Cry 5 gameplay. There’s no better stage to premiere gameplay footage than the annual events at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Ubisoft upped their game this year by bringing co-op to the Far Cry series.
Players will have a few companions to rely on in Far Cry 5. These newly made friends can be directed by a solo player, or played by fellow gamers via online. Playing solo will allow players to give orders to the team and set up perfect traps to take out the cult members that will be faced in the game. Check out the Far Cry 5 gameplay trailer below:
Among the companions are a sniper by the name of Grace, a four-legged companion that answers to Boomer, and a rambunctious pilot named Nick. In the above video, the player sends Grace to a water tower to gain a perfect sniper position. Boomer is hiding in the bushes, out of sight, and Nick is on standby in what seems to be a crop duster. When the player gets into position, the command is given for Grace to take her shots. As she starts picking off the enemies, Boomer comes in to attack unsuspecting rivals. Boomer will also fetch weapons, which can be useful. Finally, Nick flies in with guns blazing to help take out a group of cultists. Team work at its finest.
Far Cry 5 releases on February 27, 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. What are your thoughts on the Far Cry 5 gameplay Trailer?
