Cyberpunk 2077 DLC To Be Revealed After The Game’s Launch
There are officially less than two weeks to go until players are finally able to step foot into the fictional metropolis of Night City and live their best lives in the most highly anticipated game of the year. That said, we know there is going to be plenty of DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, but we won’t know any specifics about the extra content until after the game launches next month.
During a recent earnings call (transcribed by SeekingAlpha), CD Projekt RED co-CEO Adam Kiciński offered a bit more information about post-launch content when asked about their plans. After all, it was stated earlier this year that we would be hearing something soon about Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC, but then another delay happened.
“The initial plan was to do before release, but after the recent delay, we decided to wait for the release to provide gamers with the game and then start talking about future projects,” Kiciński said. “So, after release.”
During the Q&A portion of the earnings call, Kiciński also touched on the multiplayer part of Cyberpunk 2077. Of course, it will be some time until that launches, and it will also be awhile before the team discusses it. “Regarding multiplayer, we haven’t announced any date so far and actually, right now, it’s not the — I mean, it’s not the moment to talk about any business model for multiplayer, even though we had discussing before, but to avoid any fast in our gaming community, we — I will skip it, because we’ll share our thoughts about next year once we will update our strategy,” Kiciński said. He then notes that more information will become available in Q1 of 2021.
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently set to arrive on December 10th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with more information on DLC arriving at some point after that. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
