Crysis 2 Remaster Seemingly Teased By Crytek
It has been 10 years since the release of Crysis 2, which still brings in a few players here and there. That said, with fans of the series returning to the first title in remastered form, it would appear that there will be a remaster of the second entry arriving at some point in the future.
Taking to Twitter, the developers at Crytek recently sent out a tweet that sparked a bit of excitement. “They used to call me Prophet,” reads the tweet. This, of course, could be in reference to Major Laurence “Prophet” Barnes, the character from Crysis 2. They then followed this tweet up with an eyes emoji, only fueling the fires of speculation.

However, the teasing did not stop there. The very next day saw the developers at Crytek issue another tease that all but confirms what many are thinking: a Crysis 2 remaster is happening. All they did was simply send out another tweet that contained the very same eyes emoji from the day before, but the post also included a screenshot from Crysis 2. Needless to say, it would appear that something might be revealed in the near future. Or the devs are just messing with fans. It’s anyone’s guess at this point.

If there is indeed a Crysis 2 remaster on the horizon, there is a good chance we will be hearing more about it in the coming days, especially with E3 and Summer Game Fest being right around the corner.
