Axiom Verge 2 Coming To Epic Games Store (VIDEO)

Axiom Verge 2 PC Epic Games Store

Thomas Happ Games announced Axiom Verge 2 back in 2019 during a Nintendo Direct presentation, with fans excited to check out the sequel on Nintendo Switch at some point in the future. That said, after it was delayed to 2021, it has also been revealed that the upcoming game will also be coming to PC via the Epic Games Store.

During the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase, Thomas Happ Games released a trailer showing off the action to come in Axiom Verge 2. Of course, this was intriguing as the only platform announced for the game was the Switch, but it looks like that is no longer the case. At the end of the trailer seen below, it can be seen that the title will be coming to PC and it will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

In case you don’t know what to expect from Axiom Verge 2 when it launches later this year, here is the official description:

“You may have played Axiom Verge, or heard it referenced as a benchmark for indie “metroidvania” adventures. Axiom Verge 2 is part of the same story as Axiom Verge 1 but is a completely new game: new characters, new powers, new enemies, and a new world. You can play it before or after the original. Meet Indra, the mysterious billionaire behind the worldwide Globe 3 conglomerate. What is this world she’s found? Who are the voices that seem to be calling to her?”

Not much else is known about Axiom Verge 2 at this point, but it is expected to launch at some point in 2021 for Nintendo Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store.
