A Note From The DFTG Team RE: US Election

DFTG US Election

November 3, 2020 will mark the 59th election in US history. This might also be the most important election this country has faced, which is why we at DFTG have chosen to take the day off and ensure our team has a plan to vote as well as the time for our community to go out and vote if they have not already done so.

This also goes for you, our community. We are not here to tell you who to vote for because that is up to you to decide. We will, however, encourage you to please exercise your right as an American and participate in our country’s democratic process, provided you are of legal voting age. It can not be stated enough how important this election is, not only for the current day and age, but also the future of the United States. If you have yet to vote or make a plan, resources on what you can do and where you can go can be found at:

Anxiety is high in America, much like it is all around the world. 2020 has been a challenging year for many reasons, including the ongoing global pandemic as well as civil unrest. This is why we at DFTG have chosen to put the importance of voting over site traffic on election day. Gaming coverage will resume on November 4th, no matter the outcome of the election, but it is imperative that we put what is important first, and that is ensuring our voices are heard.

Lastly, a massive thank you to our community. We appreciate you being with us all this time and we thank you for understanding our decision to take the day off and make sure we have a chance to vote. We hope that you are also able to exercise your right and cast your ballot. Make a plan to get out and vote if you haven’t already. Resources can be found at the link above.

Stay safe and game on, friends.
