As the launch day for Cyberpunk 2077 continues to approach, fans are becoming more and more excited to get their hands on the game. That said, the developers have obviously had a bit of a head start over everybody else, and it looks like a group of the devs have done something nobody else has: obtain the platinum trophy.

CD Projekt RED QA lead Lukasz Babiel recently took to Twitter to let fans know that they have claimed something others will have to wait a couple of months for. All the tweet consisted of was a screenshot showing the trophy progress for Cyberpunk 2077 as well as the caption “just a normal day at work.”

Babiel then went on to reply to fans, telling one that obtaining the platinum trophy “was a collective effort” after being asked how long it took to collect all of the trophies. In the same reply, however, Babiel noted that the team will soon be running some speedrunning contests, and more info is likely to arrive after such activities.

As for the Cyberpunk 2077 trophies themselves, there are 45 in total: 26 Bronze, 17 Silver, 1 Gold, and 1 Platinum. Considering past delays and fans worrying about another one, the testing of the trophy system is definitely a good sign. Of course, Babiel noted that they were testing other stuff along the way, and things change all the time, so there is no telling what could possibly happen before then. Either way, November cannot get here soon enough.
