New Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds Trailer Highlights The Beautiful Environment (VIDEO)
Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn was released to critical acclaim back in February, even earning high remarks from us here at DFTG(you can read our review right here). With its gorgeous visuals and compelling storytelling, the game has been a hit for the PlayStation 4. Now that its first DLC is set to arrive next month, a new Frozen Wilds trailer has been released to show off the beautiful environment that gamers will be immersed in.
The upcoming DLC will place players in the Cut, “a boreal wasteland to the north that separates the Banuk homelands from the rest of the world.” Featuring a bounty of snow-covered mountains, Banuk camps, freezing temperatures, and so much more, the Frozen Wilds DLC looks to be quite the departure from the base game’s colorful environments. New storylines, characters, and machines will also be among the content coming to the title. Check out some of the beauty that awaits in the short trailer below:
The Frozen Wilds DLC is expected to drop on November 7. While the new content pack will cost $20, PlayStation Plus members can pre-order it for $15 and get a Banuk Aloy avatar. Of course, if you don’t already own the title and don’t mind waiting a little longer, the Game of the Year Edition is set to be released on December 5. For only $50, you’ll receive both the base game and the Frozen Wilds DLC, which is quite the steal.
