CD Projekt RED is gearing up to deliver an epic RPG experience with Cyberpunk 2077, the game featuring an impressive level of depth in terms of its open world as well as gameplay and customization. While hype remains high for the Keanu Reeves-inclusive title, there’s still plenty of time before the game will see release. However, it appears the meantime provides a nifty Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 theme for fans to take advantage of.

Recently going live on the PlayStation Store, PlayStation 4 users were given access to a new Cyber theme dubbed “Mercenary of the Dark Future.” Featuring a bright yellow background image of player character V, the familiar PS4 interface is updated to include fittingly-robotic icons, in addition to futuristic sounds effects and ominous overlaying music. Check it out in action in the video below alongside an official description from the PlayStation Store.

Though it’s certainly not the most elaborate ever made, fans of Cyberpunk 2077 may nonetheless be itching to take notice of an officially-made theme. That being said, fans of the female version of V may be disappointed, as the theme only includes the male incarnation featured on the game’s cover art. Still, with such a minuscule price tag (free), the Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 theme could still be worth checking out.

Themes aside, Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up to be a pretty solid adventure, especially following its big showcase at E3 2019. Not only did the game reveal the presence of Person of the Year-contender Keanu Reeves, but also a few tidbits about the game’s branching endings and inevitable expansions. There was also a closed-door look at some new gameplay that is scheduled to be publicly unveiled at this year’s PAX West.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 16th, 2020. Those interested in the PS4 theme can download it from the official PlayStation Store.
