A new, detailed look at the upcoming opening of Disney’s Star Wars Land has been revealed at the D23 convention, a day before the official festivities kicked off. The Star Wars Land model, which showcases a bevy of incredible features, will be available for convention attendees to walk through on a portion of the show floor, while hyping up the 2019 opening for this section of the park.

Posted on the official Disney page, the theme parks will be modeled off of a “never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space,” which will definitely give park goers the feeling of really being a part of the Star Wars verse. It was also announced that those who visit the Star Wars theme park will have the chance to fly the Millennium Falcon and take part in a mission that could very well be the turning point for the war between the First Order and the Resistance. Check out the video below to see the detailed reveal of the Star Wars Land model:

The parks will be around 14 acres and will be featured at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Both locations are set to open in 2019, though no set date has been given yet. Hopefully, with the reveal of the Star Wars Land model, this means we might hear more details on the opening date as D23 continues this weekend.
