Adorable Child Jyn Erso Cosplayer Gave Death Star Plans to Every Princess Leia She Could Find

Jyn Erso Cosplayer

A lot of big news came out of Star Wars Celebration Orlando last weekend, as it has been the go-to place for Lucasfilm to make grand displays of their new projects at the main panel events for the convention. However, much like the Star Wars universe itself, while most of the attention goes to the big events, the smaller ground-level stories can be overlooked. One such small, but adorable, scale story happened at Celebration Orlando, as a young Jyn Erso cosplayer made it her mission to give The Death Star plans to every Princess Leia cosplayer she could find, much like the real Jyn Erso did in Rogue One.

Images logging these mission successes have been posted by Imgur user DinoIgnacio, showing the many Princess Leia cosplayers this Jyn Erso, real name Harley, encountered. The photos show Leia cosplayers of all ages and several different versions from just about every film she made an appearance in, from Rouge One/A New Hope all the way up to The Force Awakens. Harley’s father specially crafted multiple Death Star plan datacards to hand out specifically for this event. She also gave a card to Lucasfilm Creative Executive and Canon Wizard Pablo Hidalgo!

Last, but not least, Harley completed her mission by leaving the last copy of the plans at the memorial bouquet for the dearly missed Carrie Fisher, nestled under the dress she wore in the award ceremony at the end of A New Hope. Harley certainly seems, at least in this universe, a reflection of that new hope that keeps the best part of the Star Wars fandom alive. May the force be with you, Harley.
