Razer Introduces Insane Triple Display Laptop Concept at CES 2017

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 has brought out mind boggling concepts from cars with personality to 8K HDMI that will make your eyeballs sing. No CES would be complete without the presence of one of the leading PC peripheral manufacturers, Razer.  As to be expected, Razer did not disappoint. Their jaw-dropping concept for a triple display laptop, dubbed Project Valerie, has us and consumers worldwide drooling. Want to see what all the fuss is about? Check out the video below:

You can watch it again if you want, we’ll wait. Razer’s concept gaming laptop looks like their Razer Blade Pro got a hold of the Transformers Spark Cube. The video shows that the laptop could be used with a single display for boring everyday use or transformed into a PC gamer’s dream machine by allowing two additional 17 inch monitors to emerge from behind the first. To make things even better, the screens align not only side by side, but at a perfect angle to give optimal view of the three displays together. What would a product by Razer be without their signature Chroma lighting effects? That’s right, the two additional monitors would also have Chroma lighting to give that extra flash to an already gorgeous machine.

Project Valerie

After revealing Project Valerie, Razer’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan stated:

“Multi-monitor desktop set-ups are becoming more necessary for professionals, creators, and gamers. For the first time, we’ve engineered a solution that users can take with them. Project Valerie promises all of the functionality of three screens and none of the hassle.”

I know you are all asking, “but where do I click to buy it?” As of right now, Project Valerie is purely conceptual, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll never be able to own one. I’m sure we can only imagine what kind of price point it would have. If you take into consideration that to run three displays at a worthy refresh rate, you would have to triple the GTX Geforce 1080 power that the Blade Pro currently has and add the expense for the remarkable design and lighting, it would probably only run you a couple thousand dollars, at least one major organ, and your first born child. Seems fair.
