Mass Effect: Andromeda PC Settings Revealed Along With 4K Screenshots

Mass Effect: Andromeda PC Settings

With each passing day, the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda draws closer. While we may be within two weeks of its release, it could very well seem like a lifetime. Luckily, BioWare has been releasing information about the upcoming title nearly on a daily basis. This time around, fans have been offered a look at exactly what graphical settings can be changed and some beautiful 4K screenshots from the Mass Effect: Andromeda PC version.

In a tweet sent out by NVIDIA, we are given a link to a page on their website that goes into detail of what graphical settings you should be using in ME: Andromeda PC to get the best looking game you possibly can. The settings that are changeable are as follows: Ambient Occlusion, Anti-Aliasing, Chromatic Aberration, Effects Quality, Film Grain, Lighting Quality, Mesh Quality, Post-Process Effect Quality, Resolution Scaling, Shader Quality, Shadow Quality, Terrain Quality, Texture Filtering Quality, Texture Quality, and Vegetation Quality. Of course, you will need to play around with all of these to determine what is best for your gaming rig. To see what you’ll need, you can check that out here.

A few 4K screenshots are also included in the post on NVIDIA’s website. They were taken with Ansel, a program that players who own NVIDIA GPUs are able to activate in-game and compose screenshots using a freecam. Basically, you’re pausing the game and moving the camera wherever you want instead of capturing the image that is already on screen during gameplay. Awesome, right? Using Ansel, the images below were “captured at max settings at 4K” and have “no additional post-processing or Photoshopping.” Check them out:
