Capcom Creates Resident Evil 7 Dummy Finger USB Drive for Lucky Few

The lucky Resident Evil 7 fans in the Japanese Ambassador Program are getting a special treat from Capcom. For anyone who played the Beginning Hour demo, you know all about the notorious “dummy finger”, thanks to that difficult puzzle. Capcom decided to have a little fun with it and have started to send dummy finger USB drives to the Resident Evil 7 Ambassador Program in Japan. Even though the finger looks a little burnt compared to the demo, it actually can bend at all the joints so you can move it like a real finger. Biohazard tweeted about it in Japanese, but you can see what it looks like for yourself.

The dummy finger USB drive will only be given to those few people, but don’t feel bad for yourself just yet! If you buy the Resident Evil 7 Collectors Edition for around $180, you will receive a 4GB dummy finger memory stick, a model replica of the Baker’s house that doubles as a music box, a lithograph of the Baker family, a video tape box for the dummy finger, and a creepy note from a mansion resident.
