Robin William’s Final Film “Absolutely Anything” Gets a US Release Date With Monty Python Crew

The upcoming comedy ‘Absolutely Anything’ finally gets a U.S. release date, giving fans of the late Robin Williams one more chance to see him once more in what ended up being his final project. The film stars Simon Pegg alongside his loyal dog companion, who was voiced by Williams himself. The Monty Python crew Eric Idle, Michael Palin, and John Cheese were involved with this comedic film.

The narrative of ‘Absolutely Anything’ centers around a teacher who can manifest anything they want or could desire from a group of aliens – an interesting storyline that gets an adorable twist when his first want is to give his dog the ability to speak. This action spurs a “manic stream-of-consciousness” that provides a level of humor that could be expected from the crew participating in this film.

The film, produced by Bill Jones and Ben Timlett, is slated for a limited release May 12th. This was the final film that Williams worked on prior to his heartbreaking passing. Though the film met conflicting reviews, fans in the  U.S will be given a chance to see the man himself back in action, even if it is simply as the voice of a loyal companion.
